These are the equipments that are used to play poker. The basic equipments that are used in playing Poker are:

1.    Cards: Standard cards are used for playing cards. At home games 2 fresh decks are used and shuffled while the hands are in progress. In casinos the decks of cards are changed after every few hours. This is because the players can mark some cards if bent or anything else through which the card can be identified. These cards are made of the paper that does not have long life.

2.    Poker Chips: It is difficult to handle cash in the stack and carry the cash. So for customer’s sake the casino owners have introduced the unique chips that are only identified at the same casino only. These chips are of different colors and have a unique identity of the casino on it. These chips hold different amount of values and are exchanged with cash.

3.    Poker table: Poker table is having least two players and 10 players maximum. This is used while picking cards and betting (picking and putting the chips).

4.    Lammers: Lammers are plastic chip type Tokens that have something written on it. The most commonly used is the ‘dealer’ token written ’D’ on it. This also helps to know which variant is being used and whose turn is there to pay the blind. These are also known as Buck.

5.    Cut Cards: This is a plastic card of the same size of the cards used to play the game. The basic use of this card is to prevent the accidental exposure of the cards of the deck and is kept upon the deck.

6.    Timer: A timer is kept to count down the blind periods as the timer reaches 0.00 the blind reaches to the next level.

7.    Card protectors: In this game the cards are placed face off and players may have great loss if the cards are exposed so to prevent accidental exposing they use something to put on cards like cut cards which are put on the deck by the dealer so that the cards do not expose of the deck.
